Rabbi Jeffrey N. Ronald , MHL, DHL, has served as a spiritual leader of smaller Jewish pulpits across the continental United States since his ordination as a Reform rabbi in 1987.

During the last three decades, Rabbi Ronald has devoted his ministrations in the  Reform synagogue, promoting a modern Judaism based on the principles of reason, ethics and social justice, while following the example of the 20th Century Reform rabbinate.

As a congregational  rabbi, Jeffrey Ronald  has worked diligently to knit together disparate elements of the interfaith communities where he has labored.

In the fall of 1991, Rabbi Ronald traveled to the city of Uman in the former Ukrainian Soviet Republic in order to organize and conduct a communal memorial service on the 50th Anniversary of the liquidation of the Uman Jeswish ghetto, an ancient Yiddish-speaking settlement destroyed by the Nazis and their collaborators during the Holocaust.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, in the Northeast, Rabbi Ronald launched Lands of the Covenant Foundation in cooperation with Kenneth Kreisel, a major

Southern California innovator in sound engineering. Since 2002, LOC has advocated for dynamic partnership between Jewish culture and American civilization. Simply expressed,

Lands of the Covenant sees the constitutional experiments of the USA and the State of Israel as comparable republics derived from the principles of the Hebrew Bible.

Pastorally, Rabbi Ronald has served as the spiritual leader of several Reform Jewish communities in this country, specifically in Miami, FL, Tucson, AZ, Florence, SC, Glens Falls, NY, as well as Davis, West Hills, North Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Glendale, California. In June of 2017, Jeffrey Ronald was elected to serve as the rabbi of Temple Rodef Sholom here in Waco,TX, the oldest Reform congregation in McLennan County, Texas. He and his wife, Catalina Lane-Ronald, have been married for over 34 years; they are parents to two daughters.--Autumn 2017//heshvan 5778
